It's patio season, and if you pick up a bottle or two of this fresh, zingy white blend from the Okanagan Valley, you'll be ready for the heat.
A blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, it has a big fruitbowl of flavours and aromas, including peach, apples, flowers, with just a hint of gravel after a spring rain. A pale straw colour and a medium finish. Serve chilled.
Pair with casual picnic food on a patio, fresh scallops or prawns, smoked salmon with cream cheese, or salmon on the barbecue. Good with a variety of dishes, and a total crowd-pleaser.
