A sexy winter cocktail, with some distinctly Canadian style, from the team at NOtaBLE in Calgary, Canada.
Chef Michael Noble and the NOtaBLE team uses their own blend of coffee, from Calgary's Fratello Brothers, which they brew in-house for the cocktails.
The maple syrup comes "straight from the Appalachian forest in Quebec," according to the news release, and is diluted by half "for ease of pouring."
1 3/4 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon
1/4 oz Averna bitters
1/4 oz Quebec maple syrup
1/4 oz cold brewed coffee
Stir ingredients with ice for 30 seconds. Pour into chilled glass and garnish with flamed rosemary sprig. Serves one.
