A spooky cocktail for Halloween


This technically isn't a Halloween cocktail, but look at that pic! Doesn't it just look like a streak of blood running through it?!? Perfect, we think, for All Hallows Eve. The recipe calls for a blackberry as a garnish, but a blackberry-stuffed lychee would really play up the spooky effect, too.

Bonus: this tasty drink is easy to make, too.

Dewar's Dramble

1.5 parts Dewar's 12 Blended Scotch Whisky

0.75 parts lemon juice

0.5 parts simple syrup

0.25 parts Creme du Mure

Blackberry garnish

Add all ingredients (except for the Creme du Mure) to an old-fashioned glass. Fill with crushed ice and stir. Top with more crushed ice, if necessary, and then drizzle Creme du Mure on top. Garnish. Serves one.
