Never had the vodka from Wild Life Distillery? Then it's time to check it out. Wild Life is a small craft distillery located in Canmore, Alberta, Canada, only five minutes by car from Banff National Park.

Here's a tasty and easy-to-make cocktail from The Post Hotel in Lake Louise; this lovely hotel is a Canadian gem, renowned around the world for its beautiful service, its outstanding food and wine program and its Instagram-worthy location.

As for this cocktail, it features seasonal fruits, which changes every three weeks or so. Peaches, apricots, blueberries or strawberries would all work beautifully. A great way to use some of summer's bounty.

Ingredients

1 1/4 oz. Wild Life Distillery Vodka

3 oz. homemade seasonal fruit purée

3 to 4 mint leaves

1/2 oz. lemon juice

Soda water

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into rocks glass (old-fashioned glass) over ice and top up with soda. Pour into glass. Garnish with mint leaves. Serves one.
